Jennifer Aniston is 51 years old but looks 63
Aishwarya Rai is 46 years old but looks 23
Choi Ji Won is 45 years old but looks 25
Suh Jung Hee is 56 years old but looks 22
No offense to white people but that's just my observation.
East Asians - and to a certain extent, other Asians, especially those who are of East Asian descent - look younger because they have a mutation in the EDAR gene.
The EDAR gene controls the development of our:
(i) Skin
(ii) Hair
(iii) Teeth
The East Asian mutation in the EDAR gene first appeared about 35,000 years ago.
This mutation causes East Asians to have:
(i) More Neotenous features
(ii) Thicker Hair Shafts
(iii) More Oil Glands (which helps skin look younger for longer)
Neoteny is the retention of juvenile features in adults.
The mutation in the EDAR gene means that East Asians retain a lot of baby-like features (including facial features) well into adulthood.
This include:
(i) Smooth, hairless skin
(ii) Flatter, more rounded faces
(iii) Less angular faces
(iv) Less defined nose bridges
(v) More rounded cheeks
In addition, one of the other things that can radically affect how young a person looks is their bones or facial features. Some people are just born into families where everyone looks young. Where each individual facial feature is proportioned just so, located just so, such that the person looks much younger than their same-aged peers.
My sister enjoys following fashion personas on social media. She tells me she gets sartorial inspiration from these people she follows.
One of the fashion personas my sister follows is a woman who goes by the name of 十早 on Weibo.
(十早 = Shí zǎo, which may mean “ten early”. Or “ten morning”?)
She is quite a popular “fashion blogger”, and a Google search of her name turns up quite a number of articles.
This woman has always stated, across her social media accounts, that she was born in 1979.
Which would make her 41 years old this year, 2020.
From what I’ve gathered through a cursory glance at her Weibo, she also appears to have children.
I’m not completely familiar with women’s fashion, but here’s a recent photo of hers:
However, from her pictures, she looks almost prepubescent.
This is not just about having a good skincare regimen or getting enough sleep.
It’s about having bone structure or facial features that just skews amazingly young looking
If she really looks like this in real life, then yes, I would say that this is a 41-year-old woman who looks 12.
wow she really looks young.
Thank you for MHO, maam.
Megan Fox ruined herself with surgery.
Jennifer Aniston has held up well and looks 40.
Aishwarya Rai has an excellent surgeon, makeup artist, photographer, photoshop and manager.
Choi Ji Won has an excellent surgeon, makeup artist, photographer, photoshop and manager.
Suh Jung Hee has an excellent surgeon, makeup artist, photographer, photoshop and manager.
Basically a lot of white women drink too much, spend too much time in the sun, do drugs, get plastic surgery when they are young, botox, eat processed meat, go vegan etc.
With Hollywood white women a big thing that seems to age them is veganism, botox and spending too much time in the sun.
Jennifer Aniston looks 40? ROFL
Why are you only saying those Asian girls I mentioned had good surgeon? FYI Jennifer Aniston had surgery too. She had a big nose before. and she doesn't look 40 in my opinion. so her face is fake too.
Why not all say all these girls have equally better surgeons, plastic surgery, botox, make up, photoshop, hmmm what else?
Aniston always had a butter face. It's well documented that those Asian actresses have had surgery, never go anywhere without a makeup artist and their image is strictly controlled by use of the best photographers, photoshop and manager. I've been to asia women generally start losing their looks around 30 depending on the conditions they live in.

Would you still say she is a natural beauty? 😉
I wouldn't describe Jennifer Aniston as a natural beauty ever, she was average at best even in friends. she's still an attractive woman and she has a spark that's kind of attractive.
Jennifer Connelly was a real beauty who has aged well.

Jennifer Connelly is pretty hot.
I think this is a combination of genetics and the beauty practices in the country.
It's widely known that Asians hair will typically maintain it's colour for longer. My mother is from China, at age 45 she's not got a single grey, whilst my dad who is English has got quite a few here and there.
Also, having pale skin and staying out of the sun is extremely important to women in China. Whereas in the west, tanning is a more common practice. The issue is tanning ages your skin, and will start to really effect the face in your late forties. Some 70 year old Chinese women I've met have never seen the sun, and have not a wrinkle in sight, versus my iItalian grandma, who loves bathing in the sun, and as result, her skin is quite loose, wrinkled and lots of sunspots, despite being younger.
I think it's a matter of personal choice - if you want to have deep tans throughout your twenties, you're going to start getting wrinkled in your forties.
To be honest they both look fine. Jennifer Anniston looks fine for a 50 year old I think.
Jennifer Aniston is just ugly all around no matter her age
🤣 Angelina Jolie looks way better then her FACTS.
@PetrovaFire92 oh definitely, jennifer aniston looks like the creepy neighbourhood mom that hits on 14 year old boys lmao
Opinion

I think they all look good, and like grown women, not children.
Do you think your opinion has a cultural bias?
@DeeToPlay True. The bias in this question seems rather blatant.
-Genetics
-Asian women take skincare very seriously, they’re known for their umbrellas in the sun cause they’re aware of the damage the sun does to their skin
-They generally eat healthier if you look at their cuisine it’s very healthy, that plays a huge role in the way their skin looks as they get all the vitamins
-They’re also very petite and people normally associate the size of someone to age. It’s not uncommon for someone bigger with a youthful face to seen as older than they actually are cause of their size.
-white women probably have the worst skin of all cause it’s very prone to absolutely everything, we develop pigments very easily, our skin is very sensitive to the sun so we have to wear spf all the time We’re exposed to sun all year round and as you can imagine that’s not possible. Unlike Asians who take precautions, most of us don’t even take skincare seriously until we’ve started to see ageing signs lol and then we normally go for botox or something else cause we’ve been neglecting it for so long that a simple night serum that’s supposed to make your wrinkles disappear won’t work and we end up looking worse than before we did the procedure. Lol
Megan Fox looks her age for the most part.. Jennifer also looks her age... She just didn't age well in the face.. LOL.. She probably had some work done too which makes it look weird.. Aishwarya doesn't exactly look like a young college beauty, but she does look pretty young.. I would say she looks 5 years younger and very good for her age.. But you can still tell that she is older than 35.. Choi looks close to her age she just looks really good.. But Suh does look very young.. It could be the picture though..
Growing up around Asians I honestly don't think they look younger in general.
But Asian (east and south east Asian) women generally have flatter noses which is an infantile feature. It does not project much from profile view and has a depressed smooth bridge from the front.
Additionally many Asians lacks a significant if any brow ridge, which again is an infantile feature. Asians don't have deep set eyes and the face can look fat from the front due to a lack of a brow ridge. It's also flat from profile as well.
3rd, Asians are generally skinny... this is an adolescent feature and many Asians retain this into adulthood.
I don't believe the skin quality is different, but whites do spend more time in the sun. When compared to whites who are pale, I don't think Asian women look younger.
fat = flat, not sure why the "l" didn't go through
These examples are people who rely on plastic surgery to preserve their youth. Ironically it makes them look way older.
Had they opted for a healthier lifestyle early they would still look young, or at least their age by now and not so much older.
many of the Asian and Black cultures women seem to age slower. if they take care of their bodies well. up in to there 50s/60s range at least.
wearing makeup almost daily. tends to dry out the skin more. which makes it seem to age faster. because the skin can not naturally breath and release the nature oils to protected itself.
I'm half African and half caucasian so I am good I dont have to worry about aging. I look pretty young now.
don't mean to be rude. but when you say half African. were you or one of your parents or even one of your grandparents born and in Africa? while you might be of African descent or lineage. your more likely a half Black American. if you / your parents and grandparents were all born and raised in America.
Yeah that is what I mean African American.
Because of their diet and lifestyle choices. Many Asians drink tea which is rich in nutrients. In fact, teas like green tea is full of anti aging properties. They eat more fish, vegetables, less starch, etc. How we appear is the results of our health but emotionally, physically, spiritually, etc and what we intake in our body. It's a reflection of our health.
It’s probably genetics, and beauty standard of the country. For places like America and the us tanned skin big breasts and things like that are seen as attractive, while in many Asian areas light skin is attractive a petite body is preferred and Asian countries are very heavily into skin care to look as young as possible.
Gentics play a role which have a history of reason. "White" women start to look mature at a younger age , probably in our history thy needed to be a mate with someone else at an earlier age so not to be a burdan to the family or compete with the mother.
"Asians"is somewhat similar in context where neoteny plays a major role. The more younger or juvenile a person looks , the more likely they are to be taken care of and looked after.
I am sure enviornment and diet play a big role too.
Megan has had too much surgery, which has aged her, ironically.
And it depends on the face shape. Rounder faces, like Aiysha Rae and the East Asian girl you posted, both have round faces, which tend to look more youthful and wrinkle less quickly.
White people have thinner skin which allows them to absorb more vitamin D. It's an evolutionary adaptation from thousands of years living in colder, darker climates. One characteristic of having thinner skin that the signs of ageing appear in the skin earlier.
White people do not suffer from lower life expectancy as a result.
Genetics and a lot of plastic surgery, my mom is in her mid 40’s yet has no wrinkles and she has a tad bit of gray in her hair and looks to be in her early 30’s and she’s very white. It has to do with peoples genetics based on how they age. My biological mom is native American and white and she’s in her early 40’s but looks like she’s in her mid 20’s.
Because the lighter your natural skin tone is, the less melanin you have. The less melanin you have, the more susceptible your skin will be to damage from sunlight. Even if a group of people had the same amount of exposure to sunlight and the only differing variable was melanin (or race), the white person would be at a huge disadvantage compared to the others because they have the least melanin.
‘Black don’t crack’ is actually somewhat true, relatively speaking.
Asian look white like paper So they should have aged similar or more than white women 🤨
White women aren't actually white they look white + reddish (blood patches)
Asian people Korean/Japanese are actually more white than white women.
@Aaron_Stone... I take it you haven't seen how many inches of porcelain white face-powder many east Asians wear.
I have seen many without makeup.
@Aaron_Stone sure. I've seen many pale white women without makeup as well.
So your point about melanin doesn't make much sense to me.
Its collagen, facial structure and genes that make difference. Melanin doesn't have much to do with youth.
Sure melanin prevents skin damage from UV rays but that doesn't determine youth.
I didn't ask the question, How can I rephrase it?
my main point was even though white women and Asian have white skin, Asian women age slowly/look youthful than other races.
You can look at pics posted in some answers or internet with Asian women having age 40 still looking like in 20s
@Aaron_Stone I could do that and succeed for women of any race.
I commented what I observed, If you don't believe it. I can't force you to agree.
@Aaron_Stone I agree that some Asian women look younger than they are. Which I've seen examples of in white women, Indian women, black women, Hispanic women, etc..
... OK
There are numerous factors, but since you had to make it about skin color. White skin reflects light differently and is more apt to show wrinkles, but some fair better than others. Also very pale white people can get more sun damage than their tan counterparts, this can lead to aging of the skin. However, some of the fairest skinned people avoid the sun and look years younger than other skin types. The bigger point and takeaway is different cultures show different signs of aging. Western culture is still dominated by lighter skinned people, so the aging standard is around lighter skinned people. This standard is different than other societies that show aging differently then us. I can recognize aging signs in non-white people as well as non-white people. There are different standards and under the western standard non-white people appear younger.
From personal experience people of Germanic ethnicity, be they British, German, Dutch, Scandinavian or a mixture of them as in the US tend to look much older than they actually are. On average they have a visible aging of 5 years compared to non-Germanic Europeans. For women it is even more visible. Asians do not show very strong differences from non-Germanic Europeans.
Western life style is terrible for women
They drink more than other women, use a lot of make up, many dont get proper sleep, also birth control pills.
The hormone manipulation can affect women in negative ways over time.
I think a more natural and relaxed lifestyle is better for western women.
Also celebrities do a lot of drugs
What about the white women who dont drink, wear little to no makeup, get plenty of sleep and aren't on birth control. Those people do exist. Just as there are plenty of Asian women who do do those things.
@Felicityoyo those white women probably age better and encounter less healthproblems later on. 😀
It's a generalization about western culture, obviously there are exceptions. When someone makes a generalization, exeptions are assumed.
Almost all Hollywood celebs have had "work" done on their faces, so they're not representative pf the general population.
true that.
Those are celebrities who feed into superficiality and get plastic surgery and drink and do drugs. Megan Fox has had a ton of plastic surgery. The other women tan or drink, smoke, or drug.
I'm 24 and still get carded and mistaken for a teenager because I choose to take care of my skin and myself. I work with what I have. I don't tan, I moisturize and use sunblock. I drink water and I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs.
I think that has a lot to do with aging.
Asian women are also very familiar and keep up with their skincare routines. The Asian culture generally places importance on their health, especially skincare.
But Megan Fox doesn't look 41... 30 tops. She has really good skin.
It could be many factors to this... I would say it's because our skin is more likely to be damaged by the sun, it could also be their skin care routine that they do on a daily basis,
who knows! Maybe the kind of food that they eat, genetics, environmental matters... also if I'm being blunt not all white people look older for their age... there is people that look pretty young for their age also.
I think it all depends on how much you take care of your skin and body
