My grandad. I was born from a single mother who still lived with her parents. My biological dad escaped around the time he found out he was about to be a father, so my grandad was my male role model. My granny wasn’t too talkative with me & my stressed young mother punished me for all sorts, so only my grandad treated me like a king from a young age, so it stuck from there.
Of course these family members are more pleasant and mature nowadays and I love them, but my grandad has always been my number one. I’ve always imagined he’d be the only one I’d tearfully mourn for when his time comes, compared to the rest of my family. I generally hate tattoos, but I’ve vowed to get one dedicated to him on my chest when that sad time arrives so I’ll remember him forever, even if I develop dementia

My mother because we can talk about a wide variety of topics. We have a lot of similar interests and are both good a carrying a conversation. I can talk to her for hours. One time we talked for like 12 hours straight!
I just don't have that same connection with anyone else in my family.
My cousins. We grew up together and now that we are adults it feels like we are closer than ever.
I talk to my brothers but I don't see them enough and I feel like they are doing their own thing and don't want to hear about their sister

My mom for sure.
She's stubborn and set in her ways, and we disagree a lot... which is why we get along so well: we're just alike, lol. She still calls and checks up on me regularly, something my other family members rarely do.My sister. I've been both a mentor and a friend to her since she was born. She's an amazing woman that I admire, very much. Plus, her and my brother-in-law gave me a damn cute niece. Uncle Joe is awesome, just so you know.
Little brother, one of 'em in particular (not the one closest to me in age). He's got a good head on his shoulders, we're pretty opposite in a lot of ways but as we've grown older we're able to have good, proper chats with each other more often.
My little sister. Always watched out for her growing up, even though we live 3 hours away from each other now we still text everyday or so and she is my biggest supporter and someone I can trust to tell anything to and vice versa.
My brother, I like talking to my parents but my brother understands the way I think the majority of time and he would share his thoughts with me which allows me to learn and grow as well.
Naturally, my mom. She's like a best friend & big sis to me. It doesn't mean that I love my dad any less. My elder bros & I are pretty close too.
My little brother. We even have our own little secret language for certain words😂😂
I feel most similar to my uncle who died in 1993. He tried to always have s positive attitude and he always had a joke to make me laugh!
My children and husband - it’s impossible to refine that further as I would put my life on the line for each of them
My sister. We have the same opinions on things and we share the same interests. She used to be a tattletale so I wouldn't tell her shit, but now she's a bit more trustworthy.
Me myself and I. Because they’re all backstabbing two face shit talkers
My little sister we hang out all the time I always watched out for her and she slept on my couch last night
My older cousin. He's the only one that talks to me like I'm to be taking serious as a person verses The rest of my family that still ask me hows school going?
Only problem I graduated 7 years ago.My mother cause she raised me and she's all i have i love you mom
My mom. She was willing to drop everything this week to help while my wife and daughter are in the hospital. I feel like I can tell her anything.
My cousin. We’ve been close since I was five. He’s five years older than me.
I think it would have to be my mum. We talk the most and are there for each other in stressful times
My mom. She is awesome. My dad passed away and I have no siblings. She added my name to the house so that when she passes I do not have to deal with any issues (nor will the tax base go up).
Actually none of em. .
But I would say my brothers my animals and my family who passed awayMy dad he is just nicer to me and we have common interests
