Accidents happen.
My best friendās father accidentally stepped on one of their kittens once and he was so upset that he couldnāt go to work for a week.
Just have to come to terms with the fact that an unfortunate accident happened and do your best to move forward.
If accidents didnāt happen we wouldnāt know how to avoid them in the future.

I stepped on our cat's tail once. Animals get stepped on all the time, animals get run over. Animals get killed by other animals. Animals get sick. If it got sick it would be just as dead but you wouldn't be torturing yourself over it.
It sucks but it's done now. You have to move on.

My brother did it on accident to my kitten when I was a kid. It was the worst feeling for me at the time. But it can't be reversed so there's no use in continuing to beat yourself up over it.
oh sad... not your fault. try to forget it. visualise and believe that it happened in dream. that'll help.
If I were a bird I would want to soar the sky someday, even if I am enslaved in a cage now. It would be so sad to die on the ground from being stepped on before I could break free

When I was a kid my mother washed our yellow pet parakeet Timmy under the sink. He caught pneumonia and died from it.
