I accidentally stepped on my bird and killed it now I cannot get over it and cry so much. What should I do?

My best friend’s father accidentally stepped on one of their kittens once and he was so upset that he couldn’t go to work for a week.

Just have to come to terms with the fact that an unfortunate accident happened and do your best to move forward.

If accidents didn’t happen we wouldn’t know how to avoid them in the future.

I stepped on our cat's tail once. Animals get stepped on all the time, animals get run over. Animals get killed by other animals. Animals get sick. If it got sick it would be just as dead but you wouldn't be torturing yourself over it.

It sucks but it's done now. You have to move on.
