I wasn't so fixated on my mother having sex, I was pretty unaware of it in all truth. I was and still am very protective over my mother, sister and all my ex-girlfriends. I know very well how men think. I was more concerned about how a man treated my mother than the amount of sex they were having. I've smashed bricks over the head of men my mother was dating, she thanked me years later lol. People definitely prioritise and differentiate people once they are in a relationship.
1st one cheated, second beat her, third died, fourth hit her greatgrandson, fith and sixth were the same guy who was mentally abusive and I missed one somewhere I think, or I miss counted.
Like I said she has horrible taste in men. She's not over it yet, she was telling me the other day about a new one she met online. Seems like... Well right up her alley.
My mom met my (step) dad when I was 2 and married him when I was 5. He's the only dad I've ever really considered a father so it wasn't no reason to chockablock. They divorced when I was 25 and I wouldn't say I've been cockblocking but I just haven't been interested in any of the guys she's seen since.
After my parents for divorced, my father remarried 8 days later. I had no occasion for expressing my displeasure with the rattlesnake-mean bitch that became his next victim.
My mother did not date for several years after the divorce and then kept her dating quiet until she was engaged. He is a decent guy but dumber than a box full of rocks. They are still married.
lol that was my sister she was probably worse than you were HA HA i was more of the chill guy i liked him he was good and everything. but my sister never took to him lol. the new guy though she can't do anything but think of him as a grand pa lol my mom is in her 60's and the guy is in his 80 ;s i guess mom played the grand pa card lol. he is cool though and a great cook so my mom bested my sister on that one lol.

It hurt like hell when she broke up with them, but my mom was never really maternal and I always felt 2nd best to her anyway. I didn't take it personally after a while. Well when my mom and dad divorced my mom married my dads cousin. Since they have passed and someone brings it up I mischievously ask the question. Since my mom married my dads cousin does that make my mom my mom or my mom my cousin-inlaw, hmmm wonder how that worked? By the way I was adopted. Got to laugh its life.
I'm gonna flip the questions since my dad passed away my mum has felt the need to. date. Am I overprotective of my partner? I'm not overbearing that she can't make a descion without me but were as I know she can handle herself I do feel pissed off because people use her height to attack her.
My Mom is a Widow, and never Married, nor ever looked to Re-marry, but I SWEAR on my heart I would protect my Mother. I would watch closely the Men who approach Her. She may be 45, but She's still beautiful. (Her hair is still JET BLACK) I've heard a few guys say to me "How'd you like a Stepdad?" That made me MAD. A few Men have insulted my Mom as well. I HONESTLY WANTED TO KILL THEM.
My father use to tell me I, was his good luck charm. I always knew when he had company. He would give me a signal if he wanted that person to leave the house. And if he wanted them to stay the night. Since I, had allergies to a lot of different things. I would just eat one of them. Or touch it. So he would have to rush me to the hospital. Well, he would say that. And half way there. He would be like. You good. And I, would be like yup. Lol
My parents are still married but my daughter does this. Not exactly cock blocking but she was horrible to a boyfriend I once had. She said she wanted to be the centre of attention and didn't want to share me. Least she was honest lol

My dad is a violent schysaphrenic split personalities you name it so it has taken me a long time to realise that not all 40year old men are like that i couldnt leave a man in my house without stairring him down the whole time.
My parents have been happily married for close to 30 years the only people they've been with since they married are each other. My entire family is like that can't say I've ever heard of a divorce happening within my immediate family on either side.

My little 5 year old brother on the other hand, he's cockblocked me on multiple occasions, so I doubt he wouldn't do the same to our mom or his dad (we're half brothers). Lol
For me the opposite, I was on the careful side so they had to push me towards taking some initiative sometimes. They were happy when I started dating, for example :D
from age 16 I was cockblocking my mom's boyfriend cuz he was such a huge unworthy dick, but from age 26 I stopped cockblocking once he stopped being a jerk and treating everyone (including my mom) better
Yea i stopped once they left. The one dude i thought was good for her was totally using her and she let em. So afterwhile i stopped cockblocking and let her learn for herself
I'm just glad I moved out when I did, it was very hard to live with him. Even though he's sobered up and mellowed out, I still worry about my mom every now and then. She's the only parent I have left, I love her so much, and I'd be crushed without her.
My mom was married to my dad for nearly 60 years till last month, but had either of them sought a new person yes I'd likely be very protective of either.
My parents have always been together, but my older sister has had 3 boyfriends and I'm usually really overprotective and don't trust them when she starts dating someone new
When I opened my eyes, I saw my parents fighting and arguing. That's what I saw them doing all the time till my father died post retirement. So, there was no question of overprotectiveness.
I never did that, even though my parents split when I was 9 years old. My mother only had a couple of boyfriends over the years and now she is still alone and happy...
