When you become a parent or if you are a parent, how overprotective will you be with your kids?

Guys if you have/had a daughter how overprotective will you be with her especially when she starts taking an interest in boys and dating? And ladies if you have/had a son how overprotective will you be with him?

I already know, no matter if I have a boy or girl I'll be like a mama lion or mama bear😅. Anyone messes with my cubs they'll feel my wrath.

We weren’t protective enough. The brother of my daughters best friend started giving her weed and raped her. Good family friends. We thought that if with anyone she’d be safe with them. So do we lock our kids in the house or send her to therapy and keep struggling?

shell be 18 in a few weeks and she’ll get her gun. Open carry. College, work, getting home at 11:30 at night. Girls need extra something to keep them safe. If more girls were armed there’d be more dead rapists. Then there’d be less rapes. Just a rant.

I'm crazy over protective especially when they are babies. If anyone even looks at my baby I immediately start having intrusive thoughts about wanting to brutally murder them. This goes away over time but in the newborn days it's strong. With my 4th baby it's been the worst. I think its because of him being really small so I feel the need to be more protective than normal.

Children are not as ignorant as older people make us out to be. When I was four, I was using a stick to keep a copperhead at bay. I was not going to let it bite me. Nevertheless, when Mother saw the copperhead, it gave her a fright.
