You definitely should not. I'm going to be real with you; there's a reason that your friend hasn't gone to the cops. I don't know what that reason is and I'm not going to hazard a guess, but whatever that reason is; it's enough of a reason that she doesn't want to involve the authorities. Let's give your friend the benefit of the doubt and assume it's because she can't get the evidence to prove that he raped her; if you go and kick that guy's ass, you could easily face retribution from his friends or get charged with assault and battery where you'll have to explain why you did what you did... and all of that assumes that what your friend says happened is actually what happened.
