I know I've been in a serious toxic relationship but I'm stuck and I'm hurt. My friends are fed up with me because I keep going back. This time I planned a whole night for his bday on Saturday. He made me think we had plans and even said what he wanted for dinner for reservations. He completely stood me up and ignored my calls/texts until late that night he called and had been drinking with friends. I said I was done and had nothing to say. Next morning on his actually bday text that I ruined his whole bday and blocked me. I did nothing but plan a whole night for us and he was a no show. If I woulda picked my friends over him he would have lost it completely. Am I wrong?

It's time to move on. That's the only way you will break the toxic cycle. This time make sure you do. He treats you this way because you allow it. He has no respect for you. Drops you within no time no matter the effort you make. Leave the douche. Apologize to your friends and make ammends with them. You deserve better treatment. Later in life he will continue this even when you're fully committed and walk out leaving you with no excuse. Then it will get worse because this time you might be married and have children. Are you willing to put up with it for so long. Don't let any guy treat you like a doormat.
