My sister didn't invite me to niece birthday?

my sister gave birth my her 1st daughter and my 1st niece. We live in different cities and she only invited our parents and her hubby`s parents, her best friend too (but they live in same city). But she didn't invite me.
What do u think of situation?

I didn’t invite any of my family that live out of town to any of our kids birthdays so far. Didn’t want them to feel obligated to travel far or pressured.

usually, when sister`s are close they see their nieces very often and have close bonds with them (i have a lot exmples of this). but probably, not our case
