Help: My friend gets upset when I don't invite her places to hang out?

i dont know what to do she posts subtweets and makes comments and has told me how it affects her. she's very codependent and im very independent. i just dont put effort towards our friendship because of how clingy she can be and this affects her mental health. im so close to just cutting ties with her.

Not to be mean but your kinda being a dick. Give her a chance she is being straight up with you about wanting to tag along as you two are friends. If you don't like her as a friend then tell her straight up and tell her you are not interested in being friends anymore and you two are just to different.

Stop beating around the bush, friends like to kick it, end it if you feel like it's best for both of you.

It doesn’t seem like you value the friendship. As you haven’t even listed on reason you would want her as a friend, so yea, I suggest just to stop being friends with her if that’s what you want. Friendship should make you feel good 80 percent of the time.
