Well, yes.
A whole lot of them. My mother especially - my father can be quite indifferent to whenever I agree to something or not but usually his decisions are in my best interests - but my mother tends to be really selfish, and I say this as a fact and without any resentment.
One such decision for example was trying to get me to study History instead of Economics at the University because she apparently knew someone there and was convinced she could get me in for free as opposed to paying the usual fees. I was able to overturn that one.

Another such decision that I wasn't able to overturn was her making me come to live with her for a period, while I was perfectly happy with my aunt and my sister. Why did she get so obsessed to get me to go live with her? Because she was skimping on rent and if she had a minor in her care she couldn't get thrown out so easily.

Both of those definitely sound very selfish…trying to get you to major in something you weren’t interested in to save on cost and separating you from your sister to avoid eviction.

Yes, she's fundamentally a selfish person. Not a completely bad one, because she helped me and others many times even though she had nothing to gain from it, but she definitely puts her gain on the priority lists.
I hope you never had your parents making any decisions for you that weren’t in your best interest.

Um, yes….. they encouraged me to goto community college after high school and I did awful there….. Finally went to a real school and thrived because I was happy and out of the house etc. I wish I had gone to a real collage right out of HS. But I’m doing really well so maybe it was for the best.

Yes! My gymnastic coach was going to train me to potentially be in the Olympics and I dislike to this day, that my mom didn’t let me make that decision and put me in dance classes instead. I quit dance classes and ended up cheerleading so technically I went back in that direction anyways ☹️ A couple years ago I went to a gymnasium that same coach worked at and he remembered me. I could’ve had a very different path in life

Yes I do. 25 years ago my father made the decision of moving to another country. Me, my sisters and my mother followed him. Back then I couldn't say anything since I was a child, I was supposed to go where adults took me. However after all this time I realized that it was the worst decision that he could take for me. Now I have to work my ass off to leave the country. So much stress that could have been avoided!

No, not at all. My parents were and still are amazing to their kids. No one is perfect, but I think my parents come about as close to it as any two people ever could.
