No, I could likely go out and do a few drive by shooting, set fire to a forest and still be better than mine.

one of my greatest fears was growing up like them.

also the idea should always be to better than and not just as good as.

each generation as different pressures and different problems, it’s important not to be a parent like your own were, but a parent that’s required at that moment in time.

at parenting. what I mean is, when I remember my parents, I don't see a good example. if I have to rate their parenting, it will be very poor. But I am afraid in the future I realise my conclusion is wrong.

There is no manual on how to be a good parent. You'll make mistakes as we did. Our children survived those mistakes, yours will too. There is one key factor that is essential in any parent/child relationship. Love.

No I don’t compete with my parents or anyone else for that matter. Just me, myself and I.
But maybe when it comes to eating fast... lol, I always try to finish eating first whenever I eat with people.
