What is it like to have parents?

"Every child deserves a parent, but not every parent deserves a child"
You must feel betrayed of being deprived of someone who was crucial for your development in life. Your parents. I am very sorry that you had to go through all those shitty things in life. It must have been hard, and nobody can understand your pain, except yourself, but talking to someone can make you feel a lot better. I once read a psychology journal on how parenting can affect a person throughout their life.. the parenting style that a person's parents followed with them. It can even have a huge impact on a person's romantic life.
Now, i have interacred with you quite a few times, and you have told me about your friends. Are you close with your friends? Do you feel like you can talk to them about your pain? Do you have anyone you can trust? Do you ever feel like crying? Then cry. Express your emotions. Foster care system sucks, so no wonder you ran away. The kids in the system are extremely traumatized.
The important question is, what makes you happy in life? Apart from liquor, and sex. There must be little things. What are your hobbies? I have seen you around on GaG, Hanma.
Now, to answer your question, my parents can be all 3 depending on the circumstances. They fight a lot, work a lot, and have high expectations for me. My mom gets extremely toxic at times. She gaslights me, beats the shit out of me whenever i do not listen to her and compares me a lot. She told me to commit suicide once. She insults me whenever she's mad on someone. My father cannot be trusted, he is just fucked up. The only reason im sane is because if my grandmother, the only person i can trust. Do you have someone you can trust? They can be loving sometimes too. But they dont really show it often. They do encourage me and drive me to do my best in everything. So there's the encouragement. But i cannot talk to my parents freely.. its just hard. They are weird lmao.
Mad at someone*
Oh well, good for you then. But still, growing up without parehts must have been hard. Hugs 🤗
I don’t like hugs or feelings I was just curious 🤔
Lol 😂 alright, my bad, however, your previous replies to people made it seem likw you had an "empty feeling" or something. Try talking to your friends whenever you are feeling down. It helps
Anyway man, some parents are shit, while others are pkay. Depends on the parent tbh
Okay*
What’s a friends🤣 well the thing about feeling empty is that you don’t feel good or bad
Wait, you dont have any friends?
Exactly. And thats not really good yk?
I don’t talk to people and I live alone it doesn’t really matter though because I’ve been coughing up a lot of blood lately after drinking and feeling a very intense pain in my abdomen pretty sure I’m dying but whatever am I ryt😂
Oh my gosh. That sounds scary af. Why did you not go to the doc?
Well, do you ever really feel lonely?
And just to clear everything up, i dont hate my parents (i saw someone on the comments section mention something about it). They can be a little too intense at times.. and controlling. Anyway, coming back to you, for how long have you been having these pains?
Not sure but they definitely came before the blood I’ve been drinking everyday for the past 5 years
Hmm, 5 years, so since you were 17? How much do you drink?
Everyday I usually try to stay in the 90 proof and up range everything else is too weak sometimes I’ll drink a 12 pack of beer in about an hour or just drink a 4 liter jug of wine all day pretty much anything that’ll get me there ya know
I’m actually drinking rn 😂
Get you where?
If you dont mind me asking, how does alcohol make you feel?
To get me drunk I’m not this talkative it makes me relaxed and horny if that makes sense 😂
Lmao alright
How was your childhood? Growing up, did you have any friends?
Lol yes i noticed 😂
You are usually pretty closed off, but when you start drinking you kind of start talking a lot 😂 its fine tho haha
I'm lucky to wake up everyday with my dad teasing my mom and making a funny drama. I'm lucky to have the most understanding person and funniest person as my friends. Although my parents don't spend much time with me I still love them very much. My dad is totally strict and cold towards his staff but he is no different than 5 yr kid when he is at home. My mom is the same she is total kid in home with the family. Sometimes I feel that I'm their caretaker lol. It always feels nice to sneak a snack at midnight but catch your dad sneaking a snack then make a deal that it will stay secret between us and the information won't go to mom. It feels enchanting hearing my mom sing. She is more like my friend than mom. I tease her like she will ask a bite to chocolate but I will ignore her and continue to eat the chocolate lol. She shares her personal things with me which makes me feel responsible. Sometimes parents are scary. My dad is extremely strict with maths and my mom with my habits and manners. My family is something like a funny dad and easily getting irritated mom. Think how much fun it would be right? I really think myself lucky to have them as my parents. I'm sorry about your situation.
It's world full of possibilities , now you don't know the possibilities could be good or bad !!!
Now only you know why or what you ran away from there might be a strong reason.
And nobody could love you more than your biological parents sometimes even they can screw you up for good.
But no matter what anybody else's live wouldn't fill that gap good or bad
Wow really that sounds so odd to me that it would be ya first choice

I know this isn’t always the case, but for me personally, it feels like no matter what happens in my life, I’ll always someone who supports me. Obviously I know they won’t be there forever or God forbid something happens to them early on, but it still feels like I’m safe for the right now and, supported and can fall back on them if shit somehow fucks up for me.
Encouragement is another thing. I never realised how encouragement from parents effects you. For example, I would have never known or felt like I could actually achieve job opportunities online, like creating my own business sort of thing, which I’m in the process of right now.
It’s nice to have company that you can just straight up be yourself with.
Aawhh. Well my mom is my best friend. I talk to her about everything. My dad is a difficult person, very stubborn, but I wouldn't change him or exchange him for anything. I see people saying they hate their parents. But i love mine. I wouldn't be where I was without them. They laid the foundation of the person I am today. All people feel differently about their parents. But they taught me right from wrong, guided me and paid a lot of money for my education. They are the best. You maybe just missed a person who will always be in your corner. But like I said some people are also bad bad bad parents. So some will say you were better off without parents.
I don’t know how it must feel to not have had them. I suppose it means stability for those that gave it. Parents strengths and weaknesses are often reflected onto their kids, whether they mean to or not.
Did you have parents? I feel some people are better off than me or had an advantage because they had parents even if it was just one of them because I had none
Does it feel lonely? Do you feel stronger? Or that you lost a childhood? I can only imagine how hard that must have been for you.
Yes, I had parents. My mother was older mid 40’s when she had me. She was more like a best friend than mother.
Not necessarily lonely just I guess an empty feeling like I was deprived of something
I was reading somewhere and they said every child deserves a father and mother and I had neither I feel cheated like you and me had to run the same race overcome the same obstacles but I had to do it on crutches
Do you have anyone in your life that is older that you look up to and talk to? Coworker, anything? That sort of relationship can give a similar feeling.
No one it’s just me
Meh, my father was never around as divorced and my mum was an abusive piece of shit.
Parents can be good, mediocre or bad
here comes the pc guy…oh gosh…
Like pc principle? 😂 I honestly don’t know what pc means
political correctness
And what is that exactly is it a liberal thing
Yes it is
That’s so awesome
Nah you're fine.
