5 years later and I still want a baby, will it ever end?

okay- Take a deep breath. Then think about raising a kid with a minimum wage type job. Think about having another kid afterwards. They are more work than you could imagine. You want to give them a fighting chance at life and that takes boatloads of cash.
Finish school, don;t be in such a hurry. A kid is different from a pet hamster.
Thanks... noted
@just_a_potato Sorry, I know it sucks but it is what it is.
Volunteer to watch a couple's baby for a weekend... for free.
And you can't cancel because of plans to go somewhere with your friends.
Like every other weekend for a few months.
I bet that will help.
You'll still want a baby but reality will help you realize that it's bigger than you realize.

No I don't think you can expect your baby feaver to end. You just might be one of those women who knows she wants to be a mother, even from a very young age. If anything... your baby fever will start to hit it's peak over the next few years.
Now: Imagine you had let your 'baby fever' cause you to make an ill-thought-through decision to try and become pregnant when you were 13? Or 16? or 19? I would guess that you're thankful that you didn't.
Just... don't let 'baby fever' cause you to make an ill-thought-out decision to drop out, get a full-time job and ask your boyfriend to knock you up. 🙂
You don't see the long, long hours of the baby screaming all hours of the night and day, no sleep for months, not to mention the labor, how it changes your body, in not always a good way. there's hair loss, body weight, changes in skin, look up perineal tear, which can happen during labor. In fact, just Watch a few labor videos maybe that will take your mind off it for a while.
Thanks for the attempt of a scare but I'm so crazy that I've already looked at all of this into depth. Nothing has changed. Will continue to watch until maybe I get tired of them or something.
You're still a teenager, so hormones very well may still be a factor. Then again, maybe not. Give it a few more years. If you're 21, still have "baby fever" and are financially stable enough to have a baby, go ahead. Hell, if you're 18 and financially stable right now, why not? You know your situation. You know the right time. Do what works for you.
I think it's cute, this is a sure sign you will make a wonderful mother
That's very sweet of you
@just_a_potato Thank you :)
Iโve had baby fever since age 3 or 7 lol. I don't know but Its not going anywhere haha. I know what i want
And, with every passing day, your biological clock keeps ticking louder and louder!
Yup that definitely helps me lmao
Lol!! Well, GET A MOVE ON, girl! I'd LOVE to have kids, I just don't have any womb.
Pace yourself. You still got like 20 years to have a baby. Youโll be better prepared for one in 5 years, unless you have twins. Youโre never ready for twins. Ever.
It can depend. I never had it and sometimes it just dies down in time. Sometimes not.
For some women, babies are naturally the only thing on their mind. They are presumably natural mothers, perfectly happy raising children.
Not how you are programmed nowadays of course but a few million years of biology is difficult to breed out.
Iโll give you a baby 😍 where you live girl? But ok try babysitting if that helps
Just work towards getting a kid then? I don't see the problem
The problem is I want one now lmao
There are some big babies on GaG so maybe one wants to be adopted.
@Daniela1982 I would rather be childless for life tbh
