I did it in my late 22 but it's not a defined rule.
The idea is to know where you're going.
If you're moving out without a plan you will have a harder time.
So get an education and potentially a job before moving but work towards that starting right now

Not necessarily, I’ve noticed nowadays that housing is incredibly expensive if you’re making a little above minimum wage or a decent salary and/or go to college.
I know plenty of fellow college students who still live at home because they want to save up money when they graduate to finally move out. It’s smart. It depends on what they’re doing in their life. Working full time? College full time? Working and college?
Nothing?
In california, even renting an apartment is expensive as hell and even the minimum wage or a little above doesn’t cover everything you need to live on their own. It’s sad, so a lot of adult children live with their parents or rent an apartment with 2-5 roommates to be able to live.

Time to make your own way unless there is a good reason to stay like taking care of a parent or siblings when the parents can't. Even then, you can live elsewhere and still help out.

Honestly it's about when you're ready. I personally think it should cap off at 25 though

I moved out at 18. It's weird to me if you are older than 20.

If you are living at home at this age, and not going to school, you should be helping with house hold bills and chores
