Honestly. The best you can do is make an effort, I'm high functioning asd (Aspergers) and I had issues with it too, and not many people made an effort with me, but when they do, it means the world. Best thing you can do to start understanding eachother better too is to help her understand social cues and such, like if you are having a conversation and something confuses her or upsets her when it seemed harmless to you, try to reassure her and explain the context as best you can. And try to be patient with her, it can be difficult but patience and communication are your best tools
