People are saying this age or that, as long as they are young enough "it's okay". I say it's okay as long as you aren't having sex with your kids or sexualizing them.
I'm sure people will disagree but my family is close and I love it. Our mom is dead now, she died young, but a couple summers ago two of my brothers and my sister were visiting and after swimming in the ocean my brothers and I all showered together in a public shower on the beach (indoors, naked). It was fun and we were chatting in the shower and there was nothing sexual about it, just close family and a beautiful time. People are so hung up on sexualizing nudity and negativity around nudity it's so silly to me, so puerile and uncultured.
I did and so did my wife. There's an age when you stop. There would be no further need to teach them how to wash.
You're welcome.
Never seen that. We only showered with our mom as kids when we got out the swimming pool but we all had swimsuits still on and were just washing the chlorine out of our hair. Maybe the one in the pick is using the steam to help the babies stuffy nose. I have no idea. As a toddler, i took baths with my mom until i started asking “whats that” and other questions and then we no longer shared baths. She’d sit clothed on the bathroom floor as i played in the tub
I do it with my babies. Once they get a little older I let them have their privacy

I would say age 1-3 years old but past that age, no way give or take kids become inquisitive they start asking questions.. Example this girl was age 6 and her dad
would take her with him into the Men's restroom well this done something to her
mentally and caused her to become obsessed with sex at a young age and this
does happen and It's a form of sexual abuse and sad, her dad should have known
better.
My mom helped shower me til I was 8😆 so it doesn’t change much if we showered together or not because she already saw / helped me while bathing so..
My dad is different story I assume he showered with me until I was 3 same goes for my brother too.
responsible parents will supervise their young children while they bath or shower, because they would be even more vulnerable to slips, falls, burns and even drowning which are things that can still happen to adults, when not careful enough... lol
Supervise yes. doesn't mean they had to be in the shower with them
@DizzyDesii well yeah... but the picture used in the question has a newborn pretty much... babies can't even stand by themselves
if this question was about teens and their parents in the shower well... that would be quite weird
Nice way to both get clean. A lot of mothers struggle to even have a 5 min shower so why not do it all at once.
Unless they're babies, toddlers or at most 5 or 6, don't shower with your kids.
I showered with both my kids when they were babies. They’re older no and shower on their own for the most part
Infants and toddlers is okay. They can’t bathe themselves nor learn how to wash themselves fully at a certain age so it is okay.
If the child is super young and can't breath themselves sure but if the kid is old enough to do things for them self's , Very weird I know this one girl she is 22 and still showers with her mom. Weird 😳
Okay so around age 4 is when a lot of adults start sexualizing them? Good to know. Good to fucking know...
As long as the kids are infants or li'l toddlers, it's okay.
Eh, up until about age 3 or 4 it is ok... maybe a tad beyond that.
At a certain age... no.
personally i don't get what the big deal is it's just a shower for some reason people seem to want to sexualize everything especailly here in the usa
I’ll never know but it’s not okay when they start realizing things like above 6 and more is not okay.
If the children are too young to clean themselves? Normal.
Otherwise? VERY FUCKEN BIZARRE
My wife and I shower with our 3 year old pretty often. There's nothing wrong with it, and it provides a good opportunity to teach proper hygiene.
How old are the children? I think around puberty parents should stop, but in general with toddlers and small children I think it's okay.
We were nudist but I bathed and showered with her often even in my teens
This isn't an issue. Me and my sister used to take baths together in the 80's because well that was just the way that it was. No mom or dad even then. Or shower. Yeah I dunno man.
I think it's perfectly appropriate if the kids are under, like, 4 years old. Otherwise the mom should probably have clothes on.
I don't think a dad should ever do that.
Also, I'm not sure why I got downvotes on this. If anyone disagrees, feel free to state your case. This is just my opinion; that's all.
I didn't downvote either but bitch why shouldn't a dad do that?
And why does the kid being able to do it themselves make it "inappropriate" for the parent to do it with them? That makes no sense.
@snackthatsmilesback Calm down, bro. Again, it was just an opinion.
Sorry. But fr why? You didn't say shit for no reason did you?
@snackthatsmilesback Dude for real, I don't know who peed in your Cheerios this morning, but this is really nothing to get so upset about.
Bro I have calmed down. I just cuss sometimes. I'm gonna be a dad I just wanna know what you have against me and other men taking care of their own babies.
Dude, I don't have anything against you. At all.
Then why did you say it? Are you a troll? I just want an explanation. You said to say something if I disagreed with what you said.
Well, if you mean what you said, just say why. Come on now man you're being very evasive. I've asked clearly and multiple times.
@snackthatsmilesback You're clearly taking this issue more seriously that I ever took it.
I honestly don't see why you care so much. You don't have kids. I don't have kids. Neither one of us has kids. It's all just theory and opinions.
It doesn't matter if it applies directly to either of us, it still applies to other people. And it will apply to me in 6 months so go ahead and choke up a reason now, please? Can you give me ANY REASON why?
It’s okay when they’re young
That is just bizzarre.
I think it's OK till they get to certain age then they should refrain from doing so.
How old are the children. Very important details left out here
It is a bathing process.
Nothing wrong with that
It’s very okay and normal
A bit weird
Nothing wrong with it up to a certain age.
Depends on their age and genders
Babies it's fine
Say you got to clean them shower easier
Creepy as fuck.
