Is it normal for a female child to shower with her dad?

when i was a kid, me and my dad showered together. sometimes i showered with my mom, and sometimes with my dad. but i am curious if it is normal

If you're old enough to bathe/shower yourself it's not normal. The older you are the weirder it'd be. In some cultures everybody bathes in public baths and it's not a big deal tho.

we're basically nudists so showering even now is fine, sometimes our entire family bathes together

Someone has to watch after you until you're old enough to do it on your own. By about 4 or 5 you can probably manage. Before then, your parents generally have to bath you so that you aren't a filthy mutt and don't get sick. They have to make sure you do the job right and act as a role model so that you learn how to bath properly. They also have to make sure you don't kill yourself in the bathtub or get into trouble and start flushing bath toys down the toilet or light the bathroom rug on fire... Kids are wild. Sometimes you Dad might play that part, other times your Mom might do that. It really comes down to who has the patience and energy that day to deal with a toddler that probably doesn't want to bath and might be covered in some random filth depending on what sort random thing they did that day. Both Mom and Dad are both parents and have responsibility for their children...

ya it's fine, remember 90% of houses in the world are 1 room, most people grow up seeing their parents naked. it does no harm to them. we just get used to not doing it because we have more rooms but there is nothing wrong with it

I have heard of it in some families. It never happened in ours. My mother would bath me until I was 3 or 4 and then I was on my own.

No. Totally weird and wrong in my opinion. I was showered with my mom as a kid. Looking back I think my mom made a mistake in doing that.
