If your ones of your wishes came true after your death, is this a happy or sad ending?

My father's only wishes were for me. They were to be accepted at Harvard University (the same one he studied) and be happily married. I'm single but his first wish came true. He died of cancer when I was 15 but before his death, he left a wrapped present. However his wording on it said not to open it till my wedding day.

I think it's sad because I can't share my acceptance letter with him. If one of your wishes came true after death, is this a happy or sad ending?

I think it depends on the wish; I doubt it'd do me much good to die and then suddenly be surrounded by ponies, but then, I never wanted a pony; what I wanted was a bike. And dying and getting a bike would do even less good- having your gravesite in an open field with a bunch of horses sounds kind of idyllic.

In your case, well, I think it's definitely better to achieve it, even if they can't share it with you. Whether they can see it now or not, it'll it make it all the sweeter meeting up with them in the afterlife if you've got better stories to share.
