Do you find this to be true in your experience?
It is in my family, both my sisters always remained very close to my mom as kind of a shoulder to cry on when things were hard or when they needed advice. The boys only check in on her sometimes and see her mostly on holidays.

For my immediate family, I can see some truth to it. My brother moved away to pursue his field but is otherwise very close to all of us, minus proximity.
For me, I chose a career study path that kept me nearer to my family. I’m very close with my family.

Definitely not. I'm over here living like 9 hours away from my parents, seeing them maybe once a year. My brothers on the other hand are at there house every weekend
