these childhood friends, younger kids than me, that I used to coach or tutor... now they're bringing me their own kids!! which are like little versions of them... and now they're trying to get me to do the same with their kids

sometimes I'm not sure I've lived a long life or a short one, or if times are going too fast or too slow... but we're all going forward

To be honest, I do not have niece or nephew. My cousins have kids, but I live very far. So, I have barely ever met them Nor do I have kids, but I know my friend's kids and my old neighborhood kids who used to sit on my lap and play games with me are almost starting to teach my height already (some even got taller than me), then there are some who are barely 5/6 but they are talking and abusing as if they've grown up. I like it when they talk like kids and weren't realistic but live in their cute imaginary world, wear dresses that seems appropriate for kids, but the kind of clothes I see most of them wearing now it makes them look older... But that's what they like. 😐

I don't know... I guess, so we can't take them for granted. 😐 So, we should spend as much time as we could before they grow up. I'd cuddle my kids so much and make sure I say and hear I love you many times before they grow up and find it too awkward/embarassing to hug me and say that in public 😐
