Help with knot tying badge?

I'm in the Girl Scouts and am SOOOO close to getting my knot tying badge, all I need is an example of using the knots. My big brother is being a jerk and not helping me, what should I do?

An example of using them? Well, what would you use a particular knot for? An anchor hitch is for securing the end of the rope to something. A blake's hitch is used for self-belaying and securing progress when hoisting (I don't know if they teach you that one). A palomar knot is mostly used for fishing hooks/lures.

Are there any specific knots you need to know the uses for?

I'm not familiar with this so I can only advise to search online for the uses for these different knots you are tying. For example, type in a search the name of the knot along with "what are its uses".
