This is going to sound really strange but I went on a vacation to Tioman Island off the coast of Malaysia as a boy together with my father and little sister.
The island was really nice but I barely remember it. That wasn't the highlight.
The highlight for me is that on our way back to Singapore via ship, we were hit by the most epic storm with epic waves back to back. The whole ship was going up and up and up and then down repeatedly.
Many passengers were scared, some screamed, some cried, and so many vomited into their vomit bags. And I loved it. I mean I didn't love vomiting but it was absolutely exhilarating.
This lasted for almost a couple of hours but after the storm ended, the sun came out and I walked out on the deck and felt the fresh sea breeze and it seemed like paradise after the hell we endured. I also had a tuna sandwich.

My family had a vacation house on the ocean. I went fishing with my father and brother, went swimming, dove for lobsters and had all kinds of adventures with my friends.

My sister's christening (aka baptism) in late June / early July 1967. I was 4.5 years old. Almost every single person that I ever knew at the time was there at my house. It was Heaven on Earth being surrounded by all that love from everyone in my family and friends in our neighborhood - my entire universe of people I knew.
Had a sleepover and invited all the popular girls at school to come. We stayed up all night 🌙 playing hide and seek, drinking soda, gossiping, eating candy, playing dress up, put on a fashion show, then a talent show, and no one went to sleep until around 7am the following day. Best childhood memory for me.
The next morning... My mattress was on the floor half way outside my bedroom. No one remembers how that happened 🤭🙈 we all had sleeping bags 😴My crush
There was someone who is rather important to me you would say that she was my first crush
It's my favorite memory because even though I don't really have much emotion towards her now in a way she still affects my life to this day because she affected my opinion on what beauty is and what love is and I know this sounds dumb but ultimately that changed years of my life
If I had a chance to speak with her now all I have to say is thank you and also sorryGoing on vacations with my family and visiting relatives. Hanging out with friends during the summer.
Only the good parts with the people who were still living.
I can't just think of a single memory, but probably when I would get my Christmas present by "Santa".
