Do you think most people are ready for their parents to pass away?

maybe not to the same extent as him 😂 but like everyone has a part of them that will be relieved when they do pass away.

I've been ready for them to die since I was a kid like still waiting and they are holding on better then I thought. Even tho my mom had cancer 3 times in the last 6 years and my dad has always had bad health from smoking since he was 12. Like they are gonna die soon I just don't know when but I'm mentally prepared.

Absolutely not. But if and/or when the time comes they have no quality of life left, I hope they pass peacefully and fairly quickly.
My parents are in their late 60s and retired; both are active and in good health. I’m definitely not ready for them to pass away.

My parents have both passed away quite a while ago. It was painful. I don't miss my mother all that much since we had a terrible relationship but I miss my father a great deal.

I can't imagine a world without them in my life. Its too painful to think of one day not having them around to talk with or just be next to them.

Everyone in my family is passing away except for the one who has caused me the most pain - my mother! I'm ready for her to pass on.. I feel like I'll be free.

No. I’ve lost some loved ones when they were too young. It was gut wrenching. I’m not ready to lose anymore.
