Were you a accident or planned baby 👶?

Well, I am not sure. I was the third of five and my dad was a doctor. Never thought to ask mom or dad, but draw what conclusions from those stats that you will.
As for me, I have three unplanned - one with a one night stand whom I only learned about two years ago - and two with my girlfriend of over a decade. Our third was planned. (By a coincidence, the boys were all unplanned and my little princess was planned.)
Still, whether planned or not, I love them all with all my heart and ALL were happy surprises. In the case of my son by a woman with whom I had a one night stand, she opted not to get in touch with me to tell me she was pregnant and raised our son on her own till about two years ago.
Then she decided, as our son was 12, that as he was becoming a teenager that he ought to know his father. So she tracked me down and a test confirmed it. It was a shock, no doubt. However, I am getting to know him and I love him as much as I love my other children. My only regret being that I missed so many years of his growing up.
Still, gotta say, his mom - whom I did not know that well though I am getting to know her now - did an amazing job of raising our son. He is a great kid. Good grades, likes high school and is definitely better at sports than his dad. It is weird saying that I am only getting to know my son - but I love him with all my heart.
As to the three - two boys and my little princess - that I have had with my girlfriend, they (and she) are the center of my universe.
Our oldest - currently 9 - is a live wire. His life's motto seems to be - "Why walk around obstacles when you can just walk through them?" We are pretty sure that he was the first second grader ever to apply to join the Marine Corps and we are pretty sure he was on the team that took out bin Laden.
He is also ferociously protective of his younger brother and sister. When once his younger brother was crying, saying he was being picked on at school, older brother said, "Don't worry (name), I'll protect you." We were pretty sure he would, too - with a tank.
Younger brother is his older sibling's temperamental opposite. So much so that I've asked my girlfriend what the mailman was doing the week our second son was conceived. He is our little cuddler.
When I get home and the other two are flying around the house, he will climb into my lap, look at me very earnestly, and say, "Did you have a good day today, daddy? I was very busy today..." "Oh were you?," I reply, to be then regaled with the days doings at school. (He loves school and he loves his teacher.)
Our youngest, our daughter, is my little princess. That does not mean though that I am not as tough on her as I am the boys - Not!
Our conversations go something like this (or some variation on the theme):
Daughter/Princess: "Daddy, I want a pony."
Me: "You want a pony? What kind of pony? How about two ponies? We can put them in the backyard, the neighbors won't mind. Want to get the ponies this weekend? How about three ponies."
At which point my girlfriend rolls her eyes - she has to do that a lot with me - and says, "You're not getting her a pony!!"
Suffice to say I am currently covertly searching for the perfect pony to live in our suburban neighborhood backyard. As I say, the neighbors won't mind.
Suffice to say, planned or not, they are all happy gifts and I cannot imagine life without them.
I was both, I guess? I mean they planned to have a second baby but my parents were stupid. Mom had 4 miscarriages in 3 years and even after doctor warned them not to try for another baby, they still got pregnant and had me. So, they planned for second baby but I wouldn't have been born if not for the miscarriages. 4 lives lost so that I could come into the world! In a way, that's an accident.
Planned and unplanned.
My father sided family badly wanted a boy but I came as a girl. They were very disappointed and always hated me until they noticed I picked up characteristics of my dad.
In mother sided family everyone expected boy because all my elder cousins from there are boys. They wanted a girl but they lost hopes for that as no girl took birth in this side before me. All were boys. So they came hospital expecting a boy. But everyone was in a terrible shock when they knew I was a girl! My mom's elder sister was like, "Oh my oh my (her son) you have a small sister! Oh my god". Lol. They were very happy with the news of girl child. And I was always treated as their little princess until my small sister took birth. Well now I'm treated like Queen lol.
For Mom. Before labour pain she was getting thoughts like how she will dress up her child like a doll. She was getting feelings that it will be a girl (She have a very good sense of instincts) But then she stopped her expectations because she was just very happy to be a mom and didn't wanted any gender discrimination.
For dad. He wanted a girl child since he married Mom lol. Whenever my mom asked why he wants a girl then he will say, "So that we can make a dad and daughter pair and annoy you the whole day! If I get a son then he will be close to you and you both will annoy me!" Infront of his father he will be like "Yes we will get a son of course!" because he knew how badly his family wanted a boy. He showed that he wants a boy but internally he wanted a girl. And he was the happiest man when I took birth 😊
So yes my parents knew what was going to happen but my relatives were shocked in a good and bad way. It was unexpected for them. So I am a planned and unplanned child both.
I'm 99% certain I was an oops as I attended their wedding, just in utero🤣... It was second marriage for both, and my biological father told my mom he was a widow when they met but he was actually not even divorced, believe he was still married🙄 still don't know why she married him after a lie like that... But yeah I was a big oops I'm sure...

I asked my parents and they said that my dad got drunk and wanted sex and my mom was just kind of like oh okay. Then they basically did their thing and my mom got pregnant. And, my mom doesn't believe in abortions because she says babies are a gift from god and should never be killed and all that shit so here I am.
So are you a Christian girl?
@WhiteBoyChill My father isn't Christian but my mother is. My mother attends church and would always make me and my siblings go with her, but I never felt that personal connection. My father wouldn't attend church with us because he isn't Christian. Right now, as a high school student, I guess I'm still contemplating this. Thanks for asking!
I was 100% accident and a huge shock to my parents. My father had a vasectomy a couple years before I was conceived. Yes my Dad is really my father and my Mother was faithful. I am not the product of an affair and the DNA test proves that. I owe a certain Dr. a few drinks once I get to heaven
My mom was 18 and really hot when she got knocked-up with me by my dad two months after they got married. In other words, Easter 1962 produced more than Easter eggs. I was baptized on my parent's first anniversary.
Omg "really hot" i hope that's the way my kids describe me 😂
A planned accident... My mum was having issues with her birth control, was causing weird shit to happen so she decided to go off it and take a "if it happens it happens" approach. Found out she was pregnant a couple months later. Which was a little sooner than they were expecting
definitely an oops... lmao, budget wrecker, plan changer, and they were hoping I was a girl too, later in life my mother said she was quite happy I didn't end up being a girl too... lmao
I hoped that all my kids were girls at first but very happy now that I have boys so totally understand why your mom felt that way
yep... good thing she's now having all nieces, and she loves it too... lol
I'm thinking planned. Well, they had me soon after they married. I think a big part of the appeal of marriage at least for my father was to have children.
Yeah probably planned if they were married
My father got drunk the night after my mom dies and told me how myself and my sisters were conceived.
It turns out that my weird obsession with Disney is justified. They were there for opening day and stayed in the Contemporary Resort. Exactly nine months later, I was born.
I was planned... but i learned there were one or two miscarriage between me and my older bro. we are 8 years apart. so if those actually were born i likely wouldn't be here
Awh you were a rainbow baby 🌈
haha yes :*
Oh damnn I never really asked, but I always had this theory that I was unwanted and my mom just said few days ago that she actually never wanted to have kids.. so I'm still scared to ask to be honest lmao
Honestly cannot say, since I was present at my parents first wedding anniversary!😁
I gave a smiling with teeth shown wide emoji.
I don't know what you are seeing. Sorry for the misinterpretation if you are shown something else.
Haha I love that emoji. Always shows different then what it is on the keyboard 😬
I am a premature baby so I was 3 months old during their anniversary.
1.75 kg only. Really critical case. At the time of birth.
Awhh soo tiny
I was an accident, apparently mixing Jack Daniels and Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd was enough to conceive me
during the solo? LOL
oh nooooo! that part is scary
accident, the story goes like this.
The day my grandfather found out about my mom being pregnant. He rushed over to my fathers place with a shotgun and said marry my daughter or your dead right now
I'm an accident baby 🙃

Since my brothers are 15 and 12 years older and my mom was 41 years old when she had me, there’s no doubt I was an oops baby. My parents will neither confirm nor deny it though.
woopsie!
Planned. Accident babies are extremely rare. Nearly all of us were planed.
To get pregnant you have to sex multiple times unprotected. That's no accident.
I don't think it's rare I had two accident babies
Did you during that time of have sex multiple times were unprotected and the man ejaculating in you? If the answer is yes then your babies weren't accidents.
Accident babies are those through rape or were some sort of contraception was being used but a pregnancy still happened.
Nah just one slip up both those times were I couldn't get off in time for him to pull out. Second time I was really surprised to be pregnant cause I was on my period and thought I was safe but my body likes to ovulate early and I didn't know this at the time
That's not a accident. I explained what a accident is.
I have a different view on what a accident is then
Accident baby.
My parents were married, but my Dad just used it as pretense to sleep with my mom. She really loved him, but he was a Casanova that just slept around whenever he could get away with it (which was a lot).
So I'd say accident, on account of the fact that my mom should have never married him, the poor girl. Plus, I came at a really bad time, when my parents couldn't afford to raise a baby, so that just created even more tension between them.
A bad choice. Was created so my sister wouldn’t be alone and my parents would have someone to look after them. I accomplished one of those things, smart on their part. The other will never happen.
I was planned,
my younger brother was an accident,
the best accident in my life.
My life would be so empty and lonely without him.
Probably unplanned since my parents never loved me and I was tossed to the side like some old cabbage lol
I'm sure your better then old cabbage
I was definitely planned, but was a fun shock to my parents because the whole entire pregnancy, doctors told them I was a boy. They had a name picked out and everything and then boom, I was born, and well, surprise!
Planned and I wish my mom would stop telling me about how she wanted me to be born on a specific year but had very little time and then my dad adding "we had to you know... love each other a lot" 🤢🤢🤢🤢
I was planned. My mom had a stillbirth before me. She had a rough time of it, and couldn't have a sib for me lest she would be at risk.
My youngest granddaughter was a surprise, not an accident, the little' sweetie.
Yeah I was an accident. Even less of a reason to stay here.
Ah sameee
Personally yh I wouldn’t have that
Make something of yourself and flex it to him
And when he starts claiming ‘I’m your father’ then you know to do😌
Now he does say I'm his son based on what my mother has told me. But he hasn't made any efforts to reach out to me. I've even got a youtube channel with 20k subs & hundreds of thousands of views on certain videos. So I feel like I'd need to be a top celebrity in order for him to really want to get to know me 🤣
What about a real job?
I was planned my mom even told me my gender was a surprise (so she had two names picked out , depending on which gender I was born ).
Sooo fun to have a surprise gender baby. I did that with my youngest
Cute name could have been Kat as a nickname
I was an accidental baby, my little brother they were actually trying for.
My son was also an accident.
i was born 9 months after one of my parents birthday… i never asked but i’m quite sure i was just accidental birthday sex.
My mother said none of her four kids were planned.. my father said I was.. I guess they at least weren't playing it very safe xp
My sister was an accident, I was planned, but a really big baby and kind of wrecked the plumbing on the way out, so there were just my sister and myself.
Accident my parents were in the military when I was born. I was supposed to be born around June 20 something but I ended up staying inside my mom till July 5th.
I was an accident. My mom got pregnant with me in her senior year of high school. It was a struggle growing up
My parents were married for 7 years before my twin brother and I were born. I am not sure if it was planned or not and everyone that could tell me now is dead.
You were no little accident, you were a little wonder 🤗
Awh thanks
I guess I was an accident, I’m the first one, reason my parents got married
Same here but I'm the youngest. Parents got married cause of me
Well I never heard of it being in reverse
Yeah my parents were both divorced from other people and had kids from those previous marriages. It's a little confusing to describe my family lol
Oh ok, now I understand
They were doing the blended family thing before it was popular
I was an accident. My sister is 8 years older than me and my parents thought she would be their only child. Then Poof, I happened.
My mom wishes I was a girl since she only had one and now she has 3 boys. Im the youngest out of my brothers and sister.
Typical "Well she was supposed to be on the pill but then you happened" lol.
I was not planned and my mom spent her whole pregnancy believing I was a boy lol.
Fuck if I know. I’m not about to ask my dad that 😂😂
I don't know why anyone would ever tell their child that they were unintended lol
I don't know my mom told me when I was super young like 5-6 that I was a accident
I was planned. My little sister was an accident. But my parents love us both equally.
Not planned and not wanted either if I believe my mom.
Awh that's sad she said you weren't wanted 😔
I was planned Thank God.
But now I don’t want to be here. I don’t want to be with no man that was raised by a single mom. 🤮
You can only imagine the trauma he’s been through so NO!
Im not one for birth control but my parents missed the pill one day, so accidental
I believe I was an accident my parents had just started dating but they were both really happy when they found out.
Both my two sisters and I were totally planned for... Just like our children have been.
Miss emma mary is a planned baby, grew up to be an awesome family lady 😌
@TonyMetal___86
You must surely be able to feel the heat coming from my cheeks through blushing so much... Thank you.
Sweet as always, and you're always welcomed ☺️
@TonyMetal___86
Bless You and Thank You so much.
I was planned
But the pregnancy was probably the only thing that went according to plan
Who has two thumbs and was a failed abortion?
--- This Guy!!
My mom doesn’t even know who my dad is. One of twenty guys who’s names she never knew while hooking up drunk and high. I’m only here because she was too poor to get an abortion and couldn’t get sober enough to get rid of me.
I honestly do not know, though the fact that I never met my dad strongly suggests thst I was definitely unplanned.
I recently learned I was a "surprise". Which is sugar coat for accident and it kinda pissed me off lol.
My siblings were so nice to tell me I wasn't planned... I had an awful childhood. I turned out alright. I joined the USAF and my life started> freedom!
I am the only child who was planned and yet I'm treated like the black sheep in the family.
Well my parents are catholics, so there couldn't really be an accident
I don't know never asked parents. Great question by the way.
Thank you!
Planned baby but my late mom wasn't sure my sister was my dads
I am a desired child. Using the word planned is horrible, it seems like people are objects in this case.
I don't know but my mom and dad was married. I'm the baby of my family so I'm guessing I was an accident I know they was probably like fuck your pregnant we have to go through this shit again😂
My mom always got upset when I used "accident", we were required to call it a "surprise".
Political correctness 😂
@postaldudePL123 Incorrect. Inability to accept reality (i. e. delusional). When I asked why my dad was away one Christmas she said he was there that year & the year on the camera must've been wrong, even though I could use other evidence to match the video to the year - she is the arbiter of truth, in something cannot be fact without her approval.
Sadly the plan was to have a little brother for me but it never came about..
tbh I've never really asked but most likely planned
