He blocked me so I block him. Am I wrong?

My son daddy is watching our kid and for some odd reason; he keeps on blocking my number. . however, he did video call me with our kid 7 days ago. Then out of nowhere, his other kids mom started yelling at him saying, "if you keep talking to her, I'm putting her on block". Like she owns him or something.🙄 I called yesterday to check on my kid and now i'm block again. 😂 So, I put him on block, too! Am I wrong? They were both stressing me out/acting childish towards me for no reason.
