Have you ever moved some place where you just couldn't make friends? ?

No matter what, my husband and I couldn't make friends in Santa Rosa
We gave this a year and it's like people were already in frienships ,
more like cliques We moved back to the San Jose area

Right now we are in Southern California

Yeah, I have had this aswell. I think it all depends on the location and what a high percentage of the people's personality are.
I have found it hard in different places to make friends if you are not a part of a clicky group or sporting group etc. But that's only my opinion and what I have encountered a few times before. I make friends pretty easily when they have the time for other people, other than there clicky little groups as I'm pretty laid back and easy going. Sometimes life's just a bit tough in different situations but we all learn from each part of life and use our previous experiences to better ourselves down the track, because you don't want to be burnt twice if you can help it. Try new things maybe, think outside the square with what your surrounding communities have on offer and get involved with different events. I hope this helps you

Many try to make friends, while I try to avoid friends. To me it's funny. Problem is, everyone who knows me personally gets hooked to me. Next thing I know, they're calling me constantly, never leaving me alone. I guess I have one of those stupid personality that attracts them like ants on sugar. If you want, you can have all of my friends. Please take them!
