that was basically what depression would do to me...

although I had all kinds of bonds and connections with the people in my life, depression would sometimes take them all away... and then, it didn't matter much how I cared and how very well I knew that was the case, I could still not reach those deep feelings

so to me, it was an absolute disconnect and that, back then as a kid and young thing was very very disconcerting, confusing and alienating and then it could lead me to actually isolating

that was around more than 16 years ago though... for the second part of my life, those episodes have not come back as strong nor as long as they used to be when I was quite young (knocking on wood a million times) and when they start to crawl up a little bit now I am in a much better position to deal with, I know what better about it

Yea I am always truly alone. I used to go to company parties but always sat alone by myself even if I tried to socialize, it felt like I was just talking to myself. So I stopped going to work functions. I have no friends or family and can't make either so I just always truly alone.

@tonamimargaux I used to have siblings but they along with the rest of my family parents included ceased contact with me, when I was old enough to move out on my own. My family is very big on image, and I ruined my mother's chance at a perfect looking family because I was born facially messed up.

All the time. I have much experience with feeling of loneliness and not being able to connect with anyone. Sometimes it feels peaceful and quiet, but other times it's terrifying. It's like you're trapped and no one can see you or hear you

I've been isolated many times in my life but I think that was God's will - to isolate me so I would not be influenced by others or swayed away from my mission and purpose in life.

I adapt too but i really don't fuck with everyone lol but I can get along with any group and everyone cause I know a lot and like comedy from all sides like crude humor to just funny ass humor

No. I adapt. Each crowd is different. You have to pay attention to details and learn how to fit into each one.

Pretty much every time I've ever been around any people, that has been the case.

I've seen a select few people online I can mentally relate to, but I've never been around any of them.
