In my opinion it is.
I was working full time at 18 still working full time now and I still think 18 is too young to have a baby.

Lots of teenage mothers get government assistance and that annoys me and I’m sure it probably annoys other people knowing their tax payers money is going to somebody irresponsible who thought about having a baby when they were not financially ready.

Yes, I do as most of the 18 year olds are not mature enough to handle the responsibility of a baby, make sacrifices, understands kids needs and take care of them as well as take care of themselves. Kids means giving a lot of care and attention to 24/7. You let them out of your sight for even a minute and they might get hurt physically, you have to put your child at first and you have to spend a lot of money for your kids food, diapers, clothes and then school once they get a bit older. You need to be ready mentally, emotions and financially stable before you go ahead and bring a child into this world.

If the person is responsible enough then no it's not too early. I had my first at 18 and pretty happy that I did.
a lot of people think that being financial stable is the key to being a good parent when that's just not true. All that's gonna create is spoiled kids. Gotta actually be there for your child and teach them the things they need to know about life and show them lots of love. You don't need money to be able to do those things.

No it's not, but it will change your life going forward. Your life and plans will be on a different track then if you didn't, they will change again if marriage happens. Life is definitely a DIY project, each path taken leads a different direction to different path's

pretty much. basically nobody is financially stable at that age. I had my first at 19. I'd recommend to anyone to wait and have their own life and shit together before adding a dependent to it.

But how much financial assistance have you received. From articles I have read it could cost you a million dollars to raise six kids to age 18. If you worked child care alone would break you.

I have only 4 live with me, the other 2 live with a previous partner... I'm still with the father of the 4 that live with me so that helps, he works long hours 5 days a week, I work on the weekends... we manage

It differs everywhere but I think it is. My cousin is 32 and he still jokes he's too young for a baby but he got himself surgery to not get someone pregnant
