my family here is taking me out to brunch... we often get too loud though.. 3 little girls 4yrs and younger.. plus 2 older teens.. and my husband...

My mother is dead, but my birthday is May 13, my one daughter's birthday is May 10, so me, my wife, and my two daughters (and maybe my son-in-law) just combine everything together into one BIG day. Usually we just all go out to dinner, and I usually get my wife some flowers.

I would love to be able to give my Mom a Mother's Day gift but she died and they cremated her and sprinkled her in the ocean. No grave to visit. No money for a funeral. She died on May 2nd and was on a metal slab at the crematorium on Mother's Day that year. I hate that my mom didn't get a proper burial because she deserved one. I love and miss you Mom ❣️💕 S

Both of my parents have passed away. I have nothing special planned. I'll probably send an email to my ex-wife (the mother of our 3 grown children) wishing her a Happy Mother's Day and thanking her for being such a good mother to our kids, like I usually do.

Well my mom has made it clear she just wants to rest and relax this weekend, so I'm going to bring her gift to her (I got her a really nice windchime to hang on her porch!), wish her a happy mother's day, and respect her wishes! :)

My mother during the last few years she was alive really loved for me to take her into the NC mountains and she really loved a chicken sandwich. I don't normally eat "junk food" but sometimes on mom's day and on her birthday, I will go eat one. I was very close to my mother and I do miss her.

My mother is the way she is, but she took care of my brothers and I. I usually buy her a card and give her some money. This year she wants to have a cook out b/c it's going to be warm on Sunday. She's very demanding! I'd like to invite my sister in law over also. Despite I have never had a full conversation w/Lupe over these past 10 years b/c she doesn't speak much English, that woman has been like another mother to me.
