Mothers, what are your Mothers Day plans?

We are going to go out to eat and then church. I may sneak out and go to the mall if I feel like it.

My mum passed away, so sadly I won't get to spend the day with her, but I do plan on spending my first mothers day as a mum with my 6 week old if it is not raining visting the ducks at the park since she likes to stay awake and watch things move around. I originally was going to take her to the Aquarium as I know she would have been interested in watching the marine life swimming around but I found out it was going to be busy at the Aquarium.

Before anyone comes at me about how Aquariums are cruel. This Aquarium is more of a rescue place where they have given a home to marine life that was either sick or injured and could not be returned to the wild

I already spent it with my mom back in February and March while I was visiting her and Papa. I took her out shopping for new clothes and shoes, took her to Starbucks and nice restaurants. I just called her to tell her I am thankful she’s my mom and thanked her for her love!

I drove to my mom's home this morning and took her to church. We hen returned home and I started preparing lunch. My siblings showed up around 1:30 pm and we had lunch at home. (Trying to go out to lunch on Mother's Day is a crazy endeavor, AND my mom is 92 years old so taking her out would be even more crazy!)

I'm not a mother, but my husband and I are going to have a fish and chicken fry for our mothers and grandma at our house tomorrow evening, then we will go to Grandma's for lunch on mother's Day.

Go to see her Sunday morning. Make her breakfast.. followed by her gift. Then go for a walk for an hr. The older I get. I find nothing is more valuable than time... The more you give the more rewarding it is.
