Can mother's day also be turn into grandma's day?

To me mother's day it's just like any other day. I only be cooking for my grandmother and bought her favorite classic tea set she been wanting for years. My dad does not spend time with my grandma so I always go every day to keep my grandma company. My grandma was almost like my mom as she raised me the first years of life. My mom does not deserve crap at all. I never wanted to celebrate mother's with her.

An adoptive mother could have raised you and given you all that a wonderful biological mother would give you. That would make her your mother regardless of no biological connection. Whoever raised you and gave you the love that comforted you as you grew up is as much your mother as anyone could be. You love her back every day, and celebrate it with her on Mother's Day.

I think Mother’s Day has always been Grandma’s Day in addition as our grandmothers are also mothers directly related to us. The word “mother” is in their title.
