Do women celebrate fathers day?

Father's day is coming up, do women celebrate it across the world? here in Finland they don't

Fathers day has passed for me - and here some do, some don't.

My father is still alive and well, however I see very little reason to celebrate someone who's practically a stranger, will I celebrate him in the future? Who knows.

@Potteplante I am sorry that you do not have much of a relationship with your father. I ws on the outs with my father for a few years. I was glad that we put our differences aside finally.

@exitseven it's been like this for the past 20 years - heck even before that, I was a guest in my father's house and family. Lived with him for 2 years and got the sleeping couch in the living room - the birds needed their own rooms. 😅 but I am trying to see if there can be a relationship, we'll see.

I celebrate my father, even though he has passed. And i celebrate my husband.

They celebrate it so they can go out to dinner at a BBQ restaurant, so dad eats the food he wants, and mom doesn't have to do the dishes. Perfect plan! Everyone is happy.
