How do I deal with being the least favorite child?

I'm the eldest child, my younger sister has always been the favorite. She gets stuff I don't, my parents never get mad at her. For example when she does something wrong they just say "everyone does mistakes, it's ok" but when I do the same mistake I get punished.
Or when she asks for something, she gets it. When I ask for something, they tell at me. And no she is not a lot younger than me, she is 1 year younger.
My parents always brag about my younger sister to friends and family, but they never even mention my name. They always tell my younger sister how kind, caring, smart and beautiful she is. I've never heard any of this from them about me.
Even my grandparents and uncles favour my younger sister. They come visit only to spend time with her.
My uncle just called my mother saying that he's coming over, because he wants to spend time with my sister and buy her things.
I just feel so left out and unloved. ://
Whenever I do something good, my parents don't even notice.

that's called trauma. not sure what's going on. false perception? I have seen/heard of things like this.

do they show any forms of love, consideration, before your sister and changed as you got older?

see if you can get one on one time with them where you can have quality time. are they trying to kick you out of the nest so to speak?

have you talked to your parents?

By being you and worrying about you not your surroundings. Be independent and not depend on your parents because one day ull be out of that house. So enjoy what u have and careless about whats around. Parents love equally but they show bit more love to the son/daughter they think needs a bit of a push (to much to explain so). Be happy smile thank that u have parents 😊

don’t bother with it… don’t invest yourself emotionally if you know it’ll hurt your feelings. try to brush it off

by the way I know it is easier said than done… but it is worth the effort, because you don’t want to end up resenting your family for this… it will exhaust you emotionally and mentally. so do it for yourself and your own well being… try to brush it off, even tho it’s difficult because eventually you’ll learn to brush it off and won’t feel as hurt as you do now

I feel the same way as Im the youngest and they seem to get more of a runway in terms of what they can do. Over time I just stopped caring about getting their validation. It is what it is.
