Nobody wanted to start a family with me?

Everyone I meet just assume I have kids and are very surprised when I tell them I don't. It's not by choice, it's because no guy have wanted to start a family with me, and one even told me I wouldn't be a good mother. Yet other people who know me thinks the opposite. Why is this? Maybe that guy was right, and I have given up on the idea anyway.

Haha no it isn't. Average age for having the first child where I live is 34, and new mother's over 40 are increasingly common.

Not relevant, but my grandmother was 42 when she had my mother.

There are tests for that, and even though mothers are getting older, fewer babies with Down's are born. It was always rare and is mostly hereditary.
