How can I get over the death of my father?

my father died in 2016 i can't get over his death
everytime i think about his death i get sad & i cry.

i think about if i ever have kids he will never meet them & i will never be able to say this is your granddad he is my best friend

My father died very suddenly and it was a big shock for me. It had been 15 years and I still miss him. I try to be a good father to my own kids and I still repeat stuff that he used to say. I am just sad that he did not see how awesome his grandkids turned out. He would have been really proud.

Therapy man. You can take the edge off but the pain of a lost loved one never really goes away. Talking about them when they come to mind or on special occasions helps.
