depends on your definition of what makes someone a "real parent".
if its just genetically based, then no. since they wouldn't be related.
But if its overall for how they parent and the relationships they form with their adopted kids, abso-fucking-lutely.

Being a parent is much more involved then simply having a child. Due to the responsibility we take on when chairing for and raising a child. So the a real parent is the one that takes on the responsibility of caring for and raising the child.

Family is not those people with same blood. It's those people who really care and love us. If adoptive parents really care then yes

yes, they are just not the birth parents.
They love you, keep you safe, feed and cloth you, provide shelter, make sure you get an education, everything that most birth parents do.

Yes. They still parent. Heck, even not officially adopted people can be parents.

The real question is "do families accept adopted kids as a real part of the family". I can tell you first hand that often the extended family does not.
