Is it wrong to give my child my last name?

My baby’s father walked out a month before I got pregnant.. When he later found out at 17 weeks I was pregnant he came back into my life and we decided on a name for the baby different from the name I chose on my own when he was absent.. Well he walked out again now that i’m 5 months pregnant and I’m debating on changing the baby’s name back to the original name I picked and possibly having my last name

Is it wrong for me to keep my last name for the baby as opposed to his? I don’t want to come off as a bitter mom as I’ve let my baby’s father know the door is open for him to be a father to his son.

nah. if he can't be assed to be around for his child during what can be considered the easy part, he sure as hell doesn't deserve the honor of a child having his surname.

Get a lawyer and see what you have to do to make this guy pay child support. Then name the baby after him.
