My friend said I look like a tranny because I’m Asian?

I’m half Asian, and my friend is white. She said that I could be mistaken for a tranny/lady-boy because of my race. Isn’t that a bit racist? I told her I didn’t like that comment, and she said she was “just joking” but I didn’t see it as a joke?
