Best-friend keeps making fun of my "Asian features"?

My best friend who's just white keeps making fun of my "Asian features" because I'm 50% South East Asian as well as 50% Irish/Russian. She points them out every time I see her and is like "you have such Asian features" and said "what if the guys that like you only like you because they like Asian girls." And when a guy talks to me she points at me and goes "do you like Asians then." She told me a guy was making fun of my ethnicity and "the Asian girl over there" and kept bringing it up to me. I don't even know if that was a lie lol.

I used to call us sisters because we are so similar in personality but every time she goes "except I'm not an Asian foreigner like you." Like, I was born here lol and I'm mixed race. Plus, she's not even from here either.

1) Why is she acting like I'm only one race? I'm mixed.

2) Why is she making comments about my race so frequently? And especially about guys and dating? It makes me not want to hang out with her anymore. Should I stand up to her or will that seem sensitive?

I don't mean to offend or insult you, but while I was reading your question, I thought you're under 18. Because kids find it hard to understand the roots of racism and why it happens.

But you're a grown up woman and it should be clear that your friend is fucking piece of insecure racist shit. Deep down she hates you because she isn't you. She's jealous and she passes such remarks so that she can sleep better at night.

Next time she mentions these things, reply:

"you have such Asian features" -yeah I'm not basic

"what if the guys that like you only like you because they like Asian girls." -at least there's something in me to like.

"do you like Asians then." -yeah I like men

What country are you currently from? Sounds like your friend is just discriminatory/bigoted (for real; not in the "Liberal" way it's used). Just ties with someone like that from your life, cause she's not your "friend."

I'm from the US. I'm from NYC so it's quite multicultural but in my school there weren't that many mixed race kids.
