A couple of them are in their mid-late 20's or even 30's when they have their first child. Some are only having 1 or 2 kids; then afterwards don't want any more.

A lot of people look at life and want what’s best for their children.

if you have say $60k coming in a year, that is to support 2 adults and then a child and then maybe a 2nd, shove in a 3rd and the other 2 kids get less.

now look at cost of a larger house and it’s mortgage, schooling, college, university,

then technology, mobile phones, iPads etc,

it’s really expensive to raise a kid and you are not really thinking about your kids welfare if you simply have multiple children.

It's just that back in the 80's or before, they used to pop 4-5 kids for instance and it was a big family. Nowadays more are opting to kids at a later time and less kids.
