How do I stop caring about everyone’s opinion?

Soo I have this problem of me being always seen as a friend u can laugh at , not very much respected. I am a pretty funny person, I make a lot of people laugh and I love to laugh at myself because it makes me distant from myself to nor treat everything serious about life. However, I encountered many people that disrespected me throught the years, made fun of me , laughed at me showing that im angry with them not respecting my boundaries and I always wonder why? What is that that makes me be seen as that weak person? How do I change that? Has anyone ever encountered people like me and could tell me their observation about them? I would be very thankful

there are no easy way to change that or magical way to change that
I wish this world was peaceful world but it's not , its a battlefield
you will get your respect when you stand up for yourself and put them at there place , there are not kind or gentle way to do so either you gotta fight for yourself get angry for yourself , if you can't then fake it , see how other's earn their respect and do the same ,, find insecurities of those who mock you and mock them too those people don't care whats inappropriate and whats not , but all people have fear and insecurity use that to get your respect , no other way around it
