It's natural to care about what other people think, but when it starts to interfere with your ability to live your life and do the things you need to do, it can become a problem. Here are some tips that may be helpful in reducing your concern about what others think:
1. Reframe your thinking: Try to challenge negative thoughts and reframe them in a more positive light. For example, instead of thinking "everyone is judging me," try to focus on the fact that most people are too busy with their own lives to worry about you.
2. Practice self-compassion: Be kind and compassionate to yourself, just as you would to a friend. Recognize that everyone makes mistakes and has imperfections, and that's okay.
3. Focus on your own values and goals: Instead of worrying about what others think, focus on your own values and goals. What is important to you? What do you want to achieve? Keep these things in mind and let them guide your actions, rather than worrying about others' opinions.
4. Practice mindfulness: Mindfulness can help you stay present in the moment and reduce anxiety about the future. Try practicing mindfulness meditation or simply taking a few deep breaths when you start to feel anxious.
5. Seek professional help: If your concerns about what others think are causing significant distress or interfering with your daily life, consider seeking help from a mental health professional. They can provide you with tools and strategies to manage your anxiety and improve your well-being.
Remember, it's okay to care about what others think to some extent, but it's important not to let it control your life. Focus on your own values and goals, be kind to yourself, and seek help if needed.
I have the opposite problem. I care too little.. that's what my mom always said.
You gotta see it from a logical point. If something awkward happen its not like someone will hire a hitman. You'll be fine. Maybe you like humans too much?
I think its easy for me because I have the people in my life I need. I dont really care what other people outside of them think about me.
My best friend's Mom always said everyone's in their own bubble. They're focusing on what they need to do, and so don't worry or pay attention to what others are doing around them.
My neighbours aren't they comment and stare at everything I do
