Guys, do you borrow someone's tools and don't return them?

Are you one of those who borrow a neighbor's tools and don't return them until they ask for them back? How many times do you do that before they won't loan you any again?

When it comes to loaning tools out, I don't. You're welcome to come to my place and use them, so that I know they get back where they belong, however. I do the same thing. When I'm borrowing a tool. I try to take what I'm working on to the place that I need to borrow the tool, use it, and leave it there. There are a few people, though, like my uncle, my father, and a couple really close friends, from whom I would be willing to take a tool home with me, if they insisted that I just come pick it up and borrow it, instead of working on what I needed to at their place.

I have the tools I need for plumbing. What I don't have is more expensive and can be rented.

Rather than borrow a tool, I'd rather go out and buy it. Chances are I'll need it again. Besides, nothing is more irritating that a person who keeps borrowing the same damned thing (tool or otherwise) over and over again.

I have when I was younger but always returned them in same condition and on time. I will say this I No Longer loan tools unless they are guys around my age or older lol reason being my NEPHEW LMAO over the course of time he borrowed hundreds of dollars worth of tools and never returned them.
