Guys, What does it mean when he lends you his things?

He is my trainer I knew him from my previous gym but never spoke to him now he is my trainer.. we definitely have a lot in common

He lent me his exercise ball the other week and hasn't asked for it back...

I'm not sure whether he is just being nice? Or more?

A lot of times when people are attracted to someone else they will give them things. My cut on the whole situation is to let you know they are fond of you and give you some encouragement to reciprocate. I think it is a bit softer than coming on to you and a more friendly way to say they notice you. Then the ball is in your court and you play it as you feel comfortable.
