What does it mean when a guy friend buys you gifts?

This guy and I had a fling. We slept together, spent a lot of time together, but decided to end it and be friends. Well…. this guy has been giving me gifts after a few months of no contact. How do I interpret this?

It’s not love bombing, but I can see how it might be interpreted that way. He’s not sure he wants kids one day.

@asker gifts with no explanation after months with no contact is love bombing. There’s no reason for the gifts especially after you established you both have compatibility issues
