Is anyone else not acknowledging their Father on Father's Day?

I don't have a relationship with my father at all, and have barely spoken to him since I was 18 and removed myself from my family's life, therefore I don't acknowledge him on Father's Day.
I had a very complicated childhood, something which I'm not going into on here, but needless to say I don't get on with ny immediate family at all.

Anyone else?

Ugh... My dad was in and out of my life and we became very close in recent years. A switch was flicked and somehow he is resorting to his former angry, narcissistic self that wants to spite everyone to make himself feel good. I shouldn't contact him, but it's hard to walk away. My husband is really pissed that I keep trying. I don't know what to do tomorrow.

It is difficult, I mean some part of me still acknowledges he is my father and somehow I should respect him, but I just don't and can't, he's never given me any reason to and plenty of reasons not to. Yiu should do wgat your gut tells you.

Yeah, my father was an abusive violent asshole and I had thankfully no contact with him since I was 6 and he thankfully died last year.
Might his soul suffer for eternity and pay for his sins.

My dad passed 4 years ago.
There are only a few members with whom I still speak, and some of those out of necessity.
I didn't meet my father until I was an adult and we were both trying to make up for lost time.
It wasn't perfect but we tried.

Long story, and like you, I'm not planning on going into it, but yeah; Father's Day is just another day, as far as I'm concerned.

My father is dead and buried. Very few kids are better off without their fathers around. My father was exceptional in that regard. Even after his death he continues to destroy my family.
