Today my mom went grocery shopping and spent almost $300. She says there’s no way she spent that much and that the cashier must of overcharged her (tbh I think my mom just doesn’t understand that $300 of groceries doesn’t go as far as it used to, cause it looked like $300 worth of food to me 🤷♂️) they also never gave her the receipt apparently, so I told her I can go to the store and see if they can pull it up for her.
It’s 2:30 am and she just called me saying the cashier from the store pulled in front of her house asking if she lived there. She said she stole her money and now she’s “out to get her.” she told me not to bother going to the store for her anymore because she’s scared of her.
um…. should I be concerned that my mom is losing her mind or…💀
My mom has always been a bit of a paranoid person but i have no words right now…I’ve never heard her say something so ridiculous and Im genuinely shocked.
she even talked about buying a gun to protect herself like wtf are you talking about? 😭😭😭

I got her receipt for her and proved that she wasn’t overcharged and now she feels better and understands that the person she saw “follow” her was someone else and it was a misunderstanding
