My wife did stay home with our kids. We decided on this even before we were married. My wife has a good career and her income would have greatly helped but we did not want strangers raising our kids. They got to play in their own yard and when they were sick they got to stay in bed and my wife took care of them. We had to do without a lot of stuff but I have no regrets.

Stay home Mother is my preference. Work some if you want but mostly stay home. This is my feeling about it.
