Personally my dad of course he’s a nuclear physicist and worked on many and new people on the news project one of the people who died in the Challenger he knew personally. He designed the masters for a Cassini which was the main Satellites that orbit sander in for about a year is after than I was expecting to die. He did a good job. I’m smarter in history and politics then he is but I can’t do that science and math like he can

Oh this sounds great!

Yea he’s a great guys i love my dad he’s why I have a 200I. Q even though we are not biologically related. My dad taught me how to analyze and my mother (whom is not biological either yes I’m adopted) but I got my interest in history from my mom and science form my dad. Politics is my expertise on my own. I understand left and right ideology and because my mom and dad were religious even though my beliefs are agnostic when it comes to religion I am still very conservatives aka right wing hence why I can take both left and right it it’s logical extreme conclusion. Like if giving birth is more dangerous then given abortion why not sterilize every single female child at the point of birth. It makes the case for forced sterilization rather give women the right to choose based on state laws. Abortion is why the tenth amendment exist. Which has largely been ignored by Americans because it vague but it does tell you how do you interpret the constitution itself. And what decisions are left in the states rather than federal

Wow the great thing about your story is that they are both your step- parents but love you like their kid... I mean they took great care of you <3
- +1 y
You see the thing is or not step parents they’re my parents are the ones who love me cared for me and taught me how to live my life as a person. I do have an addictive personality from my Bible‘s girl parents questions why I can’t drink or smoke with you or cigarettes for that matter even though I participate in all three frankly I need to be calm a boring person and give all those up. Unfortunately that means I have no social life outside of church and I don’t go to church so I have no social life if I give up drinking and smoking weed
- +1 y
Yeah the real parents are not those who brought you to this world but those who took care of you.
- +1 y
Not everyone is a good parent but your step parents are.
- +1 y
I appreciate that I’m sure they will. Blood as nothing to do on who your real parents or brother or sister whom your real gandmother or father are. It is the one who love you and the people who raised you and took care of you who are your real parents. Other then them and the very possibility of God
- +1 y
exactly <3

Are the reasons I’m still alive (sorry hit the send button on accident) I should be dead but I’m not, I should be married and have had kids at this point but I’m not. Of course I haven’t had a girlfriend since I became agnostic seems not many women like conservatives agnostics either there liberals and very leftist and agnostic or there conservatives and very religious im very conservatives but liberals when it comes to religion. (Sorry I’m ranting I want to get married and not have sex again until I’m with that women but it seems like I can no longer be in the middle,

Myself, by several lightyears from the next smartest person I know.
I'm not even trying to sound arrogant; I personally don't think I'm very smart. I just think most people are insanely stupid and can be controlled and manipulated by any irrelevant, stupid, hot-button political issue, like abortion or gay marriage. Most people are tribalistic, xenophobic, and barbaric by nature, and pretend to be enlightened and moral people while they treat their fellow neighbor like sh*t and pretend to be nice to each other while stabbing their allies in the back for some dead presidents (and other such people on money, depending on the nation).
In short, my quick and dirty way of judging someone's intelligence level is their feelings on politics. If anyone says anything other than "both (or all the) parties suck and people are stupid for falling for them very time," then I instantly deem them to be too stupid for me to want to communicate with.
And yeah, I know how arrogant that sounds, and how this entire post makes me sound like a smug jackass, but it's all the honest truth. I really do think most people are dumber than pig sh*t and lack basic common sense. (Even in real life. Hell, sometimes people sound LESS stupid on the internet, because they actually have time to form their thoughts properly in text form, rather than trying to speak.)
That's why I'm trying to take up the advice by my own motto: "Learn to forgive humanity, for their infinite stupidity, than to hate humanity, for their infinite stupidity."
But yeah, I'm the most intelligent person I know and I don't even consider myself to be that smart. Just the least stupid one in the room.12 Reply- +1 y
"If you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room."

@SixFootSexy
The "room" varies between America and planet Earth, not that I fully disagree with the quote.
333 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. Moms are very smart. Daughters, in particular, should listen to them on the subject of men.
I've known a lot of smart people. One of them was a Mensa qualified guy. Let me tell you, you are out gunned. He had a photographic memory and could quote scientific papers verbatim. I was his boss. I won one round against him. I disputed his assumptions. He said " You don't agree with my assumptions" and walked off in a bit of a hissy fit.
Generally I have felt to be out gunned by physics doctorates - for my whole life.
Except this one time...
At the sunset club. Really he got up my nose because he liked to emphasis how a physicist was infinitely superior to a mere engineer (which I am). So I told him a joke where the engineer is the hero with a full grip of the mechanics of sex and the physicist is an obviously dorky male virgin. He was angry and didn't laugh at the punch line.
The next night, I am there at the bar again, chatting to a delightful charming girl and he comes in. He immediately sets about shoe-horning his way in and explains to the girl why my joke about the engineer vs physicist is seriously flawed.
She looked at me with big wide eyes implicitly asking WTF. I said these simple words "He is an a'hole. Would you mind letting me win?" She said "Of Course" and threw herself into my arms and let me win. He was majorily pissed offed.
His NBR 1 big mistake, the top of the line mistake, was that he was in love with himself. In fact so in love with himself that normal girls thought he was gay.
And guys, it turns out that normal girls just want normal guys who speak to their breasts. Life is good!10 Reply
+1 y@abc3643 is the most intelligent person on GAG. That doesn't mean I always agree with him because often I don't. However, when he says something, even if I don't agree, I think about it. I am not certain who is the most intelligent person that I am personally acquainted with, but my father comes close. On YouTube I think the most intelligent person is either Yeonmi Park or Jordan Peterson. Intelligence is hard to define. Some people with extremely high IQs know every fact in an encyclopedia but they may not reason well.
30 ReplyWe have an in-law in the family named Alex, who graduated from MIT. He's an expert with computer graphics, and worked for ILM for a couple of years. That scene in Jurassic Park where those velociraptors were chasing those 2 kids around in the kitchen? He DID the special effects for that. He also did the special effects for that T-Rex chomping down on that guy sitting on the toilet, and he's on the DVD extra material talking about how he set that up. He also did the special effects for the scene in T2 where the frozen pieces of the Terminator melted down and reformed back into the Terminator.
He went over to PIXAR and did special effects for Cars and Up. As smart as he is, he's pretty laid back, and is okay with just sitting around having a beer with you.20 Reply- 2.2K opinions shared on Family & Friends topic.
+1 yMost of the intelligent people I know play dumb so measuring their IQ is hard but my guess is that it’s my dads friend and my former boss, he operated over 3 businesses at the same time and spoke perfect English even though he was past 35 when he came to Canada, and he was the dean of an engineering school before relocating to Canada.

Myself.
No, I'm kidding. I'm probably the stupidest person I know, haha. All of my friends are pretty smart. They each got a 90+ average in high school. My one friend got 100% for almost every class he was in this year. He's just cracked I guess. And then there's me who graduated high school with an average of 8720 ReplyI feel everyone is intelligent in their own way , one is intelligent in IT , one in driving etc.. as long as one is able to perform their work better and stay happy with their peers is the most intelligent person.
