Why does my friend condescend me, and say she knows me better than I know myself? She also calls me ditzy?

She always speaks to me in this condescending tone and goes "you're actually really smart sometimes!" Or tries to boss me around and says she knows me better than I know myself. She said in front of a group of people "She doesn't even have a brain up there!" She said I'm ditzy. Why so mean?

Im not ditzy but I have ADHD so I can be forgetful but it's part of the disorder. I am working on my symptoms. I still don't get the need to condescend me though.

She’s terribly insecure and tries to convince herself and not there that at least she’s better than you. . Why do you tolerate her? What do you get out of it? She will be your “friend” only as long as you tolerate her insults. Find nicer friends.

She is trying to bring you down for whatever reason. Jealousy? Low self esteem,? Whatever it is, she's not your friend and you'd do well to be rid of her.
